There's nothing more fun than a day filled with FERRET FUN or EDUCATION.  Here are all the ferret events we are aware of going on in the area. If you know of an event not listed here, please forward or send the information to our Webmaster via our Feedback form.

CT FACT's 21th Annual Open House & Member Party will be held on  from noon to 3 pm at FACT headquarters: 16 Sherbrooke Avenue, Hartford, CT. In case of heavy snow the party will be postponed. In the event of a major snow storm, please call to verify.

Beverages and snacks will be on hand. Please
RSVP if you plan to attend to ensure we have the proper amount of food on hand.

The FACT Ferret Treasures store will be open for a bit of post holiday shopping.

An open FACT board meeting follows from 3 pm to appx. 4:30 pm. All members and the public are invited to attend.

CT Ferret Basics @ Petco - Milford, CT (1201 Boston Post Road, Milford, CT‎ - (203) 874-3511). Are ferrets good pets, is a ferret right for you? Need to learn basic care and grooming? Get your questions answered. Lot of free information. Come meet FACT volunteers, Annie and Rudy. And, of course, your ferrets are welcome! 3rd Sunday of the month - noon to 2 p.m. Please contact FACT for further info.

CT FACT's Ferret Treasures Semi-Annual Store Clearance & Sale. 11 am to 3 pm at FACT headquarters: 16 Sherbrooke Avenue, Hartford, CT. Come visit the shelter and snag some of the cozy ferret bedding Vanessa's been creating over the winter. Lots of other ferret gifts and toys available. A selection of gently used cages, carriers and supplies always at rock bottom prices and always benefiting the FACT shelter. Please contact FACT if you need further info.

CT FACT's Holiday Open House. & Ferret Treasures Store Sale. 11 am to 3 pm at FACT headquarters: 16 Sherbrooke Avenue, Hartford, CT. A huge selection of ferret sleepers, hammocks, snooze tubes and blankets designed specifically for ferrets and manufactured on site. Toys, gifts, jewelry, statues and more!

CT FACT's Annual Ferret Frolic, Grange Hall, 586 Center St., Wallingford, CT. Hours: 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. NOTE: Signs will be posted in front of the hall or call cellphone 8 6 0-3 0 6-2 7 3 0 that day only for any last minute directions.

Dr. Wil Barrios of East Hartford Animal Clinic will offer a reduced cost ferret Vaccination Clinic by appointment that day between 1 and 2 pm - including distemper and rabies vaccines for $15 each vaccination. Please call the clinic at 860-282-8989 during normal business hours before the show to reserve the shots you need for your ferrets.

We will also have Tamara of Concerned Ferret Owners in New Jersey doing Dental Teeth Scraping for $25 per ferret and/or Ear Clean and Nail Clipping for $10 per ferret as a fund raiser for their shelter.

Games: Include Tube Racesl Bowling Pin Knockdown. Games are $1 per ferret per entry.

Specialty Rings: $6 per ferret per )age based) ring. Judged on health. good grooming and temperament. There will also be a special ring for Rescue ferrets who have been adopted from a shelter or humane society.

Silent Auction of donated goos to benefit homeless ferrets.

Food (pizza) and beverages available on site. Or feel free to bring your own snacks.

Admission: $5 per adult; $1 per child under 12.

ALL FERRETS SHOULD HAVE CURRENT DISTEMPER VACCINATIONS AND BE IN A CARRIER OR ON A LEASH. Please, no other pets.
