Message Board Review Team

Objectives of the Message Board Review Team

• Help reunite abandoned/displaced ferrets with their owners.
• Provide a ferret safety net for organizations & individuals in need by providing care info; & ferret-friendly shelter/ vet care, as needed.
• Support “1st strike” national disaster relief organizations, state and local animal shelters by providing domestic-ferret back-up support.
• Ensure a coordinated, consistent, professional response to requests for disaster aid, no matter the source.

Poster Review Responsibilities

• Review the assigned message boards.
• Identify posts requesting help for a ferret or ferrets; or those that include a ferret/s.
• Reply to the post with the latest and best information obtained through the ferret group community responding to this disaster.
• Identify and escalate any unique or unusual situations uncovered.
